Europay Austria developed the 2006 FIFA WORLD CUP GERMANY™ Card in connection with the football world championships of 2006. This MasterCard Prepaid card, preloaded with a fixed amount, was suitable for use around the world.

By entering a six-digit Internet access code, users were able to check their balance and recent transactions, thereby retaining an overview at all times.

Many football fans collected the 2006 FIFA WORLD CUP GERMANY™ Card as a gift card, or simply as a souvenir.

Since the 2006 FIFA WORLD CUP GERMANY™ Card was issued to coincide with the football World Cup 2006, it is no longer possible to order this card.
