Maestro Traveller is rechargeable Prepaid card (chargecard). By entering a personal PIN code, cardholders can make payments and withdraw cash from their preloaded balance – anytime, anywhere, as securely and conveniently as at home.

You charge (and recharge) the card with a credit balance of between EUR 10,- and EUR 2.500,-. The credit that you load when you collect the card will be accessible from 9am on the next business day at the latest, anywhere in the world. To recharge the card, please contact your bank or the agency that issued the card.
The credit balance on your Maestro Traveller card is shown in euros. Cash withdrawn from ATM
machines is paid out in local currency.

In the event of loss or theft of your Maestro Traveller card you need to block the card. This
is a simple process and you only need to pay a blocking fee of EUR 15,- which already includes a
replacement card.
A card cannot be used again after it is blocked, and you will not be liable for any subsequent misuse.

A free replacement card containing the outstanding balance of a lost or stolen card will
normally be issued within 48 hours, anywhere in the world. When you receive a replacement card, you
must activate it by calling the Maestro Traveller Service Centre on +43 171 701 6100.
If you’d prefer to clear the card until your next trip, simply withdraw the outstanding credit
at any Bankomat machine. Amounts that cannot be withdrawn from a Bankomat machine may be
transferred to an account of your choice.
You can view your recent transactions and current credit balance at any time over the

The card number is printed on the front of the card. You must quote this number when
contacting customer service (by telephone or over the Internet) and when recharging your card. The
card number is also shown on the information card provided with your Maestro Traveller card.
Your personal code was supplied with the card. You need this code:
• to withdraw cash from Bankomat machines
• to make payments at POS terminals
If you forget your code, please contact the service centre on +43 171 701 6100.
If you receive your card through the post, your code will be sent out a few days later. If
your code does not arrive within one week, please inform the Maestro Traveller Service Centre
without delay.
You need your Internet access number to view your recent transactions and card balance online. You cannot use this number to withdraw cash or make payments.
There is no card fee or annual fee. The only usage fees are as follows:

€0.50 per payment (world-wide)
Current fees are also indicated in our terms and conditions. Transactions are performed in
euros and displayed inclusive of applicable charges.
Please keep us informed of any changes of address. This is particularly important for
identification purposes in the event of your card being lost.
On the accompanying slip you will find an information card containing key data relating to
your Maestro Traveller card (card number, Internet access number, service contact numbers, etc.).
