Maestro Traveller - Ordering a card from PayLife

If you prefer not to acquire your Maestro Traveller card from a sales agent, you can order the card online from PayLife. To place your order, simply proceed as follows:

1. Download a card application form.

2. Complete and sign the form and send it to the following address, enclosing a copy of your ID card:

The application form and the card itself are free. The only charges are for delivery by ‘ Ident.Brief’ (delivery with personal customer identification):

Shipping for 1 card: €12
Shipping for 2 or more cards: €18

Attention! The „Ident Brief – Verfahren“ is a special delivery process of the Österreichische Post AG, offering you the possibility to order your prepaid card from home – simple and convenient. There is no more need to look for a Prepaid sales outlet in your surroundings. The postman identifies the rightful recipient of the mailing by checking a personal ID document. The document must match the information, which the recipient has declared when applying for the card. This guarantees that the prepaid card is delivered to the rightful card owner only.

As soon as we receive your signed and completed application form together with a copy of your ID card, we will debit the shipping charge from the account specified on the application form. Note: Please ensure you provide us with direct debit authorisation on the application form.*

We will then dispatch your Maestro Traveller card, along with your PIN code and Internet access number. Note: To receive these items, please present the same ID card that you copied and sent to PayLife together with your card application form.

As soon as you receive the card, you can charge it with a personal balance of any amount from €100 to €2,500. The total balance for any single card may not exceed €2,500.
